What Diet Types Can I Choose in Fitia?

Fitia provides several diet options to match your goals and food preferences. You can choose a preset plan or customize your macronutrient distribution.

Available Diet Types:

  1. Recommended Diet: A Personalized diet designed to maximize results, calculated by Fitia’s algorithm and based on your personal data and goal, whether you want to lose fat, gain muscle, or maintain your weight.
  2. High Protein: Perfect if you want to increase protein intake, ideal for muscle building or preserving muscle mass during fat loss phases. This will set your protein intake to 2.2 grams per kg of bodyweight.
  3. Low Carb: A diet that reduces carbohydrate intake. This will set your carb intake to no more than 20% of total calories.
  4. Keto: A high-fat, very low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet. This will set your carb intake to no more than 10% of total calories.
  5. Low Fat: A diet designed to lower fat intake while emphasizing carbs and protein.

Beyond Fitia’s preset diets, you can customize your macronutrient distribution to fit your personal preferences. Fitia will then generate meal plans that respect your selected macro targets.

How to Select Your Diet Type:

  1. Open Fitia and log in
  2. Tap your profile photo (upper right corner),
  3. Then, select Goals, Calories & Macros > Macros & Diet Type
  4. Choose from Recommended, High Protein, Low Carb, Keto, Low Fat or Customized.
  5. If you selected Customized, set your preferred macronutrient distribution (carbs, proteins, and fats).
