How Do I Select or Switch Between Simple Foods and Recipes in My Meal Plan?

In Fitia, you can choose if your meal plan shows simple foods or complete recipes, depending on how you prefer to cook and follow your plan:

  • Simple foods: You’ll see individual foods with their quantities (e.g., chicken breast, rice, broccoli) so you can cook freely as you like.
  • Recipes: You’ll get full dishes with ingredients and step-by-step instructions—perfect if you prefer detailed guidance or specific cooking methods.

How to switch between simple foods and recipes

  1. Go to the Plan tab in the app.
  2. Tap the profile icon (top right corner).
  3. Select Meal Plan.
  4. Tap Suggestion Type.
  5. Choose whether you want to see:
    • Only simple foods
    • Only recipes

Your meal plan will update to reflect your new selection.

Important for automatic meal plans

If you use the automatic meal plan, you’ll need to recalculate any days that are already generated to apply the new configuration:

  • To recalculate a day, go to the Plan tab, tap the upper-left button (), and select Recalculate.
  • For new days not yet calculated, there’s no need to recalculate—the changes will apply automatically.
