OilFor this recipe you need cooked quinoa and chickpeas.
Place the quinoa together with the egg in a bowl and season with the chopped garlic, turmeric and pinch of salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are integrated.
If you wish, you can replace the turmeric with curry or paprika.
Place a pan over medium-high heat. Once heated, pour half of the oil and spread.
Add the mixture with spoon and flatten into patties.
Cook for 2-3 minutes per side over medium heat. Once flipped over, cover the pan and let cook for a few more minutes until golden brown.
To make the hummus, place the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic and the rest of oil in a food processor or blender.
You can replace the oil with tahini, the same quantity.
Add salt and pepper to taste and add a little water. Optional: You can add a pinch of paprika.
Blend slowly and add water as needed to achieve the desired thickness.
Serve the quinoa patties with hummus.
